I've
read this one, has anybody else?
|

I have both the hardback and the paperback of this one. |
|

I
have a ROY ball from Moon and McBride. I'd like to get one
from each Cardinal who was awarded the ROY award..
|

TIME
repro cover signed by "The Man" |
|

My
ticket collection includes 30 in all. This is my Game 3
ticket from 1926. I also have the Game 5 from 1926.
I have at least one from every Series, except 1987 (they're
pretty easy to find - not my priority). |

World
Series pin from 1967 - El Birdo's was originated by "Cha
Cha" Cepeda. |
|

The 1931 Game 6 ticket stub...nice condition considering
it's 72 years old.
|

1931 World Series Program (not actual size) |
|

A hodge-podge of
items. The Browns version of the '44 World Series program is
visible on the back-right; the Cardinals version is behind it, and a
partial-team photo is in front. The Fenway Park version of the '67
Series program is back-center. The Tigers Stadium version of the
'68 Series program is behind the Musial autographed photo (see the
yellow border?). The bat in the center (standing) is from the '42
Series. The coffee mug on the left is from the old Sportsmans'
Park. The other items are difficult to see, so I won't bore you
with the details. |
| |
|

My 1926 and 1928
Sportsman's Park World Series programs are visible here, as is the 1964
World Series highlights LP (on the right), featuring Harry Caray &
Jack Buck. The balls (l to r) are Lou Brock, Mark McGwire (in the
brick on top of it is my ticket stub from #62), Stan Musial and Ozzie
Smith. The Coke bottle is from the 1982 Series. There are
many other items not easily visible here. |
| |
|

Both '64 Series programs
are on the right (one behind the other due to space). There are
several W.S. ticket stubs on this shelf (many others not shown).
There is a paperback "The Gashouse Gang" standing on the far
left side. The 1966 All-Star Game program is right in the middle
in the back. The mini-bat laying down (in front of the Cardinals
nodder - from 1967) is a Stan Musial model. I also have the Dizzy
Dean model and am in search of others. The baseballs (top to
bottom) are Williams, Mantle & DiMaggio - obviously not Cardinals,
but also just as obviously worthy of inclusion in any baseball fan's
trophy case. |
