The St.
Louis Cardinals have
won more World
Series Championships than any other National League team, ten. Because of
this success, and the fact that much of it came prior to the coast-to-coast
expansion of baseball, the Cardinals have a loyal, spirited fan-base that spans the
decades and the globe.
This web site is a hobby-turned-shrine and is designed to celebrate
the history of success of the
St. Louis Cardinals. I am in the process of compiling a detailed presentation of each World
Series appearance by including scores, photos, highlights, stories, and statistics from
various sources, both electronic and printed. Simply click a red or black
marker above (red for victorious appearances) to jump to the respective profile.
Those years without a hyperlink will be added shortly. To date, I have
completed each appearance through 1943.

In
addition to the story of the season, game scores, highlights and season and Series statistics, I have chosen to share a bit of
my World Series memorabilia on this site. Where an item is linked to a
specific Series, I will include it on the respective page. But there are
some items that are not dated, so I have a page marked Memorabilia (get there
from the "other" page). Also, if you have unique Cardinals
memorabilia for sale, I'm always interested in taking a look. Besides the TEAM
success, many Cardinal players have achieved individual success while playing in
St.
Louis. I have included profiles of Cardinal players who have reached the National
Baseball Hall of Fame, as well as profiles of all players who have had
their number retired by the Club, and an entire section of All-Time Cardinal
Leaders and other interesting categories. Finally, in the section called
Cardinal Sounds, I have added some audio clips of special moments in Cardinal
History, and I will continue to add these as they become available.
Thanks for
visiting my site. Enjoy your stay! If you have
any comments, corrections or suggestions for improvement for this site please contact me by
e-mail.
I may use your email for my guest book.
